Royal Scot

A cruise on the world's most famous loch is one of the best ways to enjoy some of the stunning Highland scenery and wildlife.

The "Royal Scot" is family owned and locally crewed. Moored below the canal locks in the centre of Fort Augustus the Royal Scot is situated in one of the most picturesque areas of Scotland.

Equipped with the very latest hi-tech Simrad colour sonar and Olex 3D under water imaging system the Royal Scot provides you with the best chance to see what really lies at the bottom of Loch Ness. This sophisticated technology is displayed on large flat screens throughout the boat, giving passengers a fascinating view of the terrain and life underwater.

Our local, knowledgeable crew provide commentary, answer questions and bring the history and legendary sightings to life!

The Royal Scot has been custom designed specifically for sailing on Loch Ness and offers every comfort and safety feature needed to help you sit back, relax and enjoy the cruise. The Royal Scot is 16.5 metres long and has a heated saloon for 60 passengers, upper deck seating for 60 passengers and a well-stocked bar.

The Royal Scot is British registered and carries an MCA Certificate for 120 passengers. All our skippers are fully trained, with many years' experience.
