Will I see Nessie?

You never know. You could be one of the lucky ones! We might know where she lurks. We might not tell.

Do all trips go to Urquhart Castle?

No, only the Urquhart castle Experience and Exhilarating Half Day Thrill Ride take you to the castle.

How do I get to you?

We don’t care how you get here, just get here if you can. Easiest way to find us is with Google Maps.

Where can I park?

The main car park is located in the centre of Fort Augustus village (PH32 4DD), just next to the petrol station.

Can I take a camera onto a RIB?

Of course! You need to be able to share your experiences at Loch Ness with the world.

How long are the trips?

We’ve got 2 thrilling RIB tours on offer at the moment, 60 minute adventures or 90 minute extravanganzas. Is 60 minutes enough? Wait, you’re meant to be asking the questions. No, it’s not, is the answer.

Do they run all year?

We wish. The RIBs are in the water from 24th March to 31st October although not all of our tours run during this time. Please check our tour timetables for more information as we wouldn’t want to disappoint.

Will I get wet?

That depends how good you are! No. The boats don’t spray water into the boat. Please ensure that you wear suitable waterproof jackets to protect you from the Scottish Elements as we are no longer able to provide these to you. If you’re joining us on a chilly day, we advise that you should bring a few warm layers. Stay warm, have fun.

Can I bring my dog on the RIB?

I am afraid that we do not allow dogs on any of our vessels.

Is there a minimum height requirement?

Yes, the minimum height for a RIB tour is 110cm.
